Problem Solving 101 with GRL-UT!
GRL-UT was out and about recently! Hit up the local Cinemark where there just happened to be a shit ton of people lined up to see the midnight showing of a certain movie about robots disguised as stuff and things, but really their just robots. Those clever bastards!
When we rolled up we had this minor issue of not being able to power anything … a few minutes of scouting around made short work of that!
Add a little magic! …
1LT/C – One Laser Tag Per Child

Here it is, just ummm…. 6ish months late for those of you who saw its debut at ‘The Last HOPE’. For everyone else: 1LT/C is a machine that is capable of runningĀ L.A.S.E.R. Tag for a cost of about $200, providing you get creative and make your own case out of oh… say cardboard? The end result is still well below $300 after you toss in a cheap keyboard+mouse and house everything in a Pelican case as pictured above.
The Little Projector that Could
The Dell 1209S is quite possibly the most amazing projector for the money I have ever had the pleasure of using. We picked one up to use in conjunction with 1LT/C (which there is no mention of on this site at the moment, mostly because I am a bad person) and finally had the pleasure of putting it through its paces tonight. 147 feet out from a wall at a local mall we were able to cover nearly 1/3 of the Dillard’s building side to side; the entire wall top to bottom. We knew we were on to something when cars started showing up telling us they saw the projection from the nearby freeway and had to come see WTF we were doing. After nearly 2 hours of uninterrupted fun mall security showed up and kicked us out. The next obvious target had to be the local police station… right? Turns out they do not like it when you put ‘Graffiti is neat!’ on the side of the building for lots of people to see.
